로그인은 왜 필요한가Why sign in at all
댓글 옆에 누가 썼는지 붙이려면 최소한의 신원이 필요합니다. 그것 하나 때문에 로그인이 있습니다. 그래서 읽기와 좋아요는 로그인 없이 되고, 로그인은 댓글에만 걸려 있습니다.
Putting a name beside a comment needs some minimum of identity. That is the only reason sign-in exists here. Reading and liking need no account; only commenting does.
구글에 요청하는 권한은 두 가지뿐입니다. openid는 "이 계정이 맞다"는 확인이고, profile은 이름과 프로필 사진입니다. 이메일을 읽는 권한은 목록에 아예 없습니다.
Only two permissions are asked of Google. openid confirms the account is what it claims to be, and profile carries the name and the photo. Permission to read an email address is not on the list.

계정 번호를 그대로 두지 않는 이유Why the account number is not kept as it is
구글은 계정마다 고유한 번호를 하나씩 줍니다. 그 번호를 그대로 저장하면, 이 사이트의 자료만으로도 같은 사람을 다른 서비스에서 찾아낼 실마리가 됩니다.
Google gives every account a unique number. Stored as it is, that number would be a thread by which the same person could be traced across other services using nothing but this site's records.
그래서 번호를 한 방향으로만 계산되는 값으로 바꿔 저장합니다. 이 값으로 할 수 있는 일은 "이 댓글은 지금 로그인한 사람이 쓴 것"을 확인하는 것까지입니다. 거꾸로 원래 번호를 되찾을 수는 없습니다.
So the number is replaced by a value that can only be computed in one direction. What that value can do is confirm "this comment belongs to whoever is signed in right now", and no more. Running it backwards to recover the original number is not possible.
쿠키는 두 개Two cookies
둘 다 로그인에만 쓰입니다. 광고용 쿠키는 없고, 사이트 밖의 활동을 따라다니는 추적기도 붙이지 않았습니다.
Both exist only for signing in. There is no advertising cookie, and nothing here follows a reader beyond this site.

지우고 싶다면Taking it back
댓글은 본인 댓글 옆의 삭제를 누르면 그 자리에서 사라집니다. 되돌릴 수 없으니 한 번 더 확인하고 누르는 편이 좋습니다. 로그아웃하면 세션 쿠키가 폐기되고, 브라우저 저장소를 비우면 방문자 표식도 없어집니다. 조회수는 누구인지 붙어 있지 않은 숫자라 그대로 남습니다.
A comment disappears the moment its Delete button is pressed. There is no undo, so it is worth a second look first. Signing out discards the session cookie, and clearing the browser's storage removes the visitor tag. View counts are numbers with no one attached, so they stay.

어디에 있고, 누구에게 가나Where it lives, and who else sees it
자료는 Cloudflare의 저장소에 있고, 사이트도 같은 곳에서 서빙됩니다. 로그인은 Google 계정 인증을 씁니다. 그 둘 말고 어디에도 넘기거나 팔지 않습니다. 법이 요구하는 경우가 아니면 예외는 없습니다.
The records live in Cloudflare storage, which also serves the site, and signing in uses Google account authentication. Beyond those two, nothing is handed on or sold anywhere. The only exception would be a lawful legal request.
